[INSERT DISC 2]

› narrative

lol the story is too much this time haha. Definitely a song to add some mellow levity to the saga. Love the use of space, every part has so much room to breathe. Glad our heroes got to stop and play some farm sim.

An alien track! That simple best followed by a pause, like a breath. These questions and answers use very fun sounds, I want more! More!

Some new tones for you. You record the guitar? I like where you're going with this narrative.

DISC 2 // QUARTER 2 // LFG!
i like those guitar stabs, reminded me a little bit of Cornelius 'Point' album  smile

Seeing it with my mind guy
text box, fade in, scene plays out (low-poly with pre-rendered backgrounds), fade out, text box, repeat.
loving the silly synth and EP popping in and out.

YESSSSS (btw I put my fingers in the wrong place on my keyboard at first and typed TWAAAAA, just some bonus comment content for you lol)

I'm excited at the whole Disc 1 --> Disc 2 changeover. haha. This music is that perfect kind of downtime music where you just walk around the camp and chat with the characters before you exit to continue the adventure. It also sounds like the home music for an animal cross character. It obviously fits the desert island vibe too, I suppose the gist of what I'm saying is that it reminds me of any time in the game where there's not much else to do but walk around and look at things and chat with npcs, ya know? Really good for how minimal it is. You make great use of the empty space with little melodic embellishments.

Moon Dude wanting to go to concerts is a nice touch :3

Awesome story!  Loled at moon dude's comments.  Def gave me some old school jrpg waiting around the campfire sorta feels.  With like Stardew Valley facial expressions smile

Hehe, thanks. Farm sims / life sims are my jam, so I had fun with this week's reference.

Thank you!

The guitar's actually Evolution Songwriter from Orange Tree Samples. No replacement for an actual guitarist, but it works alright for sustained fingerpicking or staccato articulations. And thanks - I'm having fun seeing where the story goes too!

Neat! Hadn't heard it before, but I'm listening now and appreciate the recommendation. Thanks!

Yay bonus comments content! Thanks so much for the feedback. And yeah, Moon Dude may be a mercenary, but I'm quickly learning that he's got some goofy quirks.

Hehe, thanks! Sounds like I've gotta get into Stardew Valley. I'm late to the party there, but I hear they're still updating it with new content.

If you play on PC, 1.6 just came out but consoles haven't received the update yet.  Supposedly sometime later this year smile
