Tl;dr - need either more sleep or more coffee. not sure which. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Happy Week 17 everybody!

fitting that the track is so dreamy. love the cozy kinda roomy vibe, even the most distant elements feel like they're just down the hall.

stare at the stars music, and that's what i did
heart

Pardon me while I float away with this lovely chord progression.  Really cool drum groove with those sweet piano echoes in the distance.  Such a calming track heart

Why not both?  Also very cafe at the end of universe. Chilling watching big things happen. Cozy.

oh wow this is magical. reminds me of boards of canada's campfire headphase album, with that hypnotic drum beat, shimmery guitars and beautiful distant synths in the back

That huge bass and the high sound with the delay, like an accent, are really nice. As the beat enters, the track catches a second breath. It's like the sun finally rising and bringing life. We need all the coffee we can get.

Oh, I love this. Those sort of pulses in the sound, giving it a little irregularity. Like tape distortion yet not. Great guitar accents! Track opening up at 2:25 or so is awesome, just that bit of a lift. Sort of like when the caffeine begins to hit. And you’re awake enough to get another cup. Great track!

It feels very floaty and drifty and then the percussion entering gives it a little propulsion without totally overpowering the mood.

So lovely peaceful and adventurous, I enjoyed it a lot!! heart

Been there, but drinking coffee just makes me need more coffee the next day too. Took me the longest time to accept that exercising actually works.

Lovely mellow tones and chords, really nails that drowsy feel. Love the boost when the drums come in, like a good cup of coffee.

Blown away by the title alone, incredible work on that one!!

I really enjoy the dreamy guitar chords, and the string synthesizers that come in!
Great piece, and well and truly lives up to the excellence of the title.

Floaty and dreaaamy. Coffee is lifeblood.
Love the guitar and the progession of this. Great work

heart

Thanks Crash Overture! I’d very much like to go to that cafe at the end of the universe sometime.

Dreeks, you just introduced me to one of my new favorite albums. 😊 I’ve been slowly getting more familiar with BoC over time but I hadn’t given The Campfire Headphase a full listen until you mentioned it. “Peacock Tail” is like the coolest track ever, and it kept me going through the tough parts of the week. Getting recommended music that leaves that much of an impact is the best, so thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

Hopefully in moderation. 😅 Thanks kedbreak!

Wow, look at all the swirls contained in that cortado! Thanks Emily.

Love the subdued crushy drums and textural interplay between the various elements. It's a drowsy doozy for sure especially when it starts to get going. Great use of space too. Faved!

This is great & love the guit

I think the line "I am walking coffee" is permanently inscribed in my brain now!
