Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

Way cool! There's almost a psychedelic vibe that I enjoy. The guitar and vocals are so tasteful and well done. Drums and bass form the groove so well, this is one of those time signatures I sometimes struggle to really "feel" but not in this track.
Brilliant collaboration. It is perfect epic music. I have the feeling of the moment I heard Gish by the smashing pumpkins for the first time. This is equally good. Masterclass.

Thanks! Glad to hear the feedback on the time signature in particular. Something I really admire about ViridianLoom's tunes are how they chart a steady course through all kinds of different time signatures, and I'm really happy with the melody ViridianLoom came up with for this one.

This has such a hopeful positive feel to it. Love the lyrics too especially the moons embrace/carapace lines. The string melodies are super evocative and just sound great altogether. Great job!

Much appreciated! The string lines were based off of ViridianLoom’s beautiful guitar melody, and I did my best to match my lyrics to the ones VL came up with as well. It was a fun challenge and I’m really happy that it’s resonating with people!
