Complimentary Fruit Basket

This is demo level at best. Spent "too much time" with friends this week instead of writing. All of the lyrics and vocal recording has been done on sunday, on an M8 instrumental that was supposed to be a work in progress. It's another one in the bag, and I am proud of myself for pushing through my difficulties with writing lyrics once again. Maybe I'll like it one day! wink

This is awesome! I came in to comment on it and was even more impressed to discover that you did all the lyrics and vocal work today! WOW!!

Hopefully this isn’t offensive, but it reminds me of Information Society. Coming from me, that’s a big compliment because they’re one of my favorite groups (and yes, they still make albums),

Dude your lyrics are super original. It's refreshing to have these lighthearted takes on very original themes.
That beat goes pretty hard too, love that thick bass sound!

love the theatrics of the vocal performance. so fun

The beat hits hard and the lyrics are funny and witty and relatable! Actually catchy tune! It even has a bridge eeehhh!? That's very good!

This sounds amazing, LeBernd (and the lyrics are great)!  Also: Dat riff cool  Definitely a favorite from this week.

Fiancé especially liked the outro

Lohnarbeit lohnt nicht... :'D
Banger tune, liebe die Vocals!

Thank you. It was pretty exhausting but worth it, I think. Good lesson, too - I'll pace the process a little better in the upcoming weeks. Never heard of Information Society before your comment, but I feel honored. smile

That means a lot - writing is fun, but I never really deliberately practiced and I'm a little self conscious about my song lyrics. Working on it though! The bass has 3 layers - Macrosynth Swarm for the main, Macrosynth Fluted for the noise (and it makes some beautiful noises) and Hypersynth to make it huge in the chorus.
