This is my first shot at Ambient with the M8 using generative elements. I set up a couple of tracks on the M8 and recorded a live performance, starting a stopping chains and fading them in and out.

The backbone of this is basically a kind of tape loop. I made a pad using multiple tracks, resampled and layered a couple times, and then used the X-Fade-Loop processing function to have a section loop seamlessly.

The Plucked Patch works with probabilty and some randomly chosen notes adhering to a scale - basic generative stuff.
