Thanks Abludo! I dug some of my own presets, for this kind of situations. After years of starting from scratch, I finally save some preset banks and share them between hardware and software instruments

Synth sounds great and nice beat, with the little time you had this sounds really good, maybe a little repetitive compared to your usual stuff, but what can you do, excited to hear what’s coming next now that you have more time

Indeed, I felt it was quite incomplete, and I had no time or my usual "cut here and there" rhythm tricks, though I feel it has some potential to develop it further

I usually leave some gaps or use breaks which are not perfectly pitched so they won't fit exactly in the bar. This way, I can program them in the grid and they still retain some swing
