Despedida y cierre

So here we are, at the end of the 2022 edition. I still can't believe it was January 2012 when I first googled "creative challenges" (looking for some writing contest, actually) and ended discovering this community.

This is a proper cheat. 2 tweaks of some simple idea recorded one over the other back in October 2021. 2 Doepfer oscillators and a bunch of modulation, all manually tweaked.

I've been trying all year to "add something interesting", but here I am, 3 hours before the deadline, with my family visiting me while... and I choose to dedicate this January the 1st to my loved ones instead of isolating myself with some headphones smile

Since I couldn't even keep up with my own comment section, I'd love to revisit the WB repertoire. We're all scattered around the world, yet after some years, I think we're both a bunch of strangers on a small site and a lovely family of creators.

Would you be open to allow your music in a compilation, maybe including some interviews so we can all "introduce ourselves". Please let me know if you dig the idea, and update your WB profiles so you are somewhat reacheable. So many talent and so many songs to choose...

Anyway, it's the first day of 2023 and I really really hope you'd have a really great year ahead of you. Looking forward to see you again in 365 days.

Lots of love, wherever you are!!!

Danke schön, Q-Rosh! Really appreciated. I apologize for all the unanswered comments, because your comments have always been really lovely.

I'll be hitting you via email very soon wink

I wish you also have a great 2023 ahead of you !!! Frohes neues jahr smile

The bouncing synths just make this such a pleasure to listen to. For a while I was wondering if a beat would drop, but by the end, I was glad there wasn't anything like that, perfect the way it is.
Happy 2023!

I was thinking about doing a WB podcast where I interview people!  Let me know what your ideas were, maybe we can join forces.  Incredible amount of talent on this site...

Great piece, sorry I haven't followed your work, will try to pick up the pace in 2023!

I had the same idea, Drew. Both to get in touch between us and to catch up with the enormous (and excellent) output of WB.

Hit me up via mail and we can discuss further. I think we could start making some tests. I've got no experience whatsover capturing live feeds / video calls, so it would be nice to work out a waterthight method for capturing the interview.

Lots of ideas for a podcast, man...

BTW I'm amazed you were able to follow your own posts... 52 videos. Impressive feat, Drew!!!

And let's not forget... Best wishes for you and Frank in this new '23 smile
