september

summer's officially over, this morning it was below zero celsius outside.

dug out the m8 after a month's break and started experimenting with guitar samples, after making the into melody the tune came together fairly quick. the intro uses a chopped sequence sampled from an electric guitar+roland gr55 and some recycled acoustic guitar chords from my wk3 tune.

so nice to be able to do music normally again after having my ears completely muffled for a month post-covid! smile

lovely! I'm glad you got your ears back. I'm looking forward to some freezing temperatures over here!

Anything you touch is magic. Lovely strings in the intro didn’t hint as to what awaits next but already felt full and lush. It’s September. The sun is still out, trees are getting ready to put up the last show and you love the smell of air yet deep down you feel the lovely summer time is over and some very dark thoughts creep in.

Music is definitely better enjoyed with good ears, and this is good music
I'm glad to see summer go, it's been pretty alright

I remember reading your entry, but for some reason have not commented and don't remember the tune, either. I just got COVID a week ago also, and the weird "shooting" in my right ear was an annoyance (but that mostly recovered, cough & congestion are affecting how I hear things, though).

Beautiful autumnal tune -- to less than 0°C! Health and warmth to you & all yours. heart
