came back to comment that i sampled part of this briefly in a drum kit for my week 5 track
listened to it full and really enjoy anytime i hear amazing melodies. i'm usually stuck in loopland, so hearing expressive, evocative, and long-form melodies always amazes me. the breakdown was really cool with the pitch bending and then the guitar-y solo riff.
as for mixing and sound design, the crunch and saw-y waves were on point, and the layers sounded pretty distinct to me (another area i struggle with).
