Drifting In The Desert

By Kris Keyser on April 1, 2018 12:21 am

Modular synth piece. Reminds me of a raga. Oscillation by Disting and Tides, modulation and melody by Maths. Delay via Chronoblob, verb added in post.

The modulation is almost talking! Has a very baroque chamber music feel to it at times contrasted with the drone tones.

Hey thanks for listening! Yeah, that wavetable oscillator on my Disting does sound a lot like a voice. This one was a lot of fun to make!

Love the pipe organ feel here.  Like I entered the holy church of electricity and there is a service where there are electric arcs and sparks exploding all around me and I stand still, in awe of it all.

When I think desert, organ isn't the first thing that comes to mind. Or the second. Or the fiftieth. But you're putting it on the list now at least.

I can feel the desert winds in this. Very nice!
