Massive

I struggled this week-end to make something work, starting three tracks trying to explore something that would catch my interest. I finally came back to the first of the three and added more sounds from Massive X (hence the name of the track) and jammed around it. It's a bit raw and unpolished but will do for this week.

Oops i just realized now that I cropped the track out of the end. Haha, that will be a lesson to do a sanity check before submitting.

The clickety-clackety percussive elements give this a bit of a tense and unsettling feeling.  It's quite nice when the arps kick in around 2:12.  The cropped ending does make it a bit abrupt, but it actually still works for me.

I do love that erratic yet somewhat predicable rhythm, is that a sample? It's wild. 2 min is a good changeup. Nice synth/arp at 2:14. The ending does work still. Be confident about your mistakes!! lol

Such a peaceful intro with the lil organic percussive elements.  I love how it changes up in the middle and blossoms outward with the arps.  The cropped ending could easily be part of the organic percussive feel smile

Love the intro to this in particular! Those sparse plucks and that persistent static make for one cool combo. 😎

i'm really into the delicate flickering sounds, and reverby plucks. cool track!

These are some very interesting sounds, like the texture of the static and the percolating sound that persists throughout, some lovely arps to round things out at the end.

I really quite like the first part of this track!  There's the skitty glitch tones happening while the loveliness floats above, giving it a sense of grounding.  I haven't used Massive for a long time!  A bit of a classic really.
