Well executed again.

Feels bittersweet and beautiful. Very nice songwriting. smile

i'm always finding myself in the worry box hmm sweet tune though, your vox are really shining here

Really like your songwriting skills. You have always “the best of” elements of 50 years music history in your tracks. Did I discover a little Fleetwood Macish vocal melody? However, it sounds cozy and authentic. Well done. Nice drums too.

You're just cranking out album-worthy songs week after week after week as if it's not a big deal. Just stop it! You're making the rest of us look bad.

(j/k please don't stop)

i agree this and last week feel album ready, can't wait to see it come out! beautiful track!

master craftsmen at work.

Beautiful and moving as always! Exquisite work!

wooooow. Amazing mix of an emotion packed song. The solo guitar and vocals at the beginning, the build, the chorus. Wow this is professional AF. Favoriting.

So pretty, moving and full of emotion. Really, really nice work. The simple video works well, too. Really nicely done. I'm a big fan of the feel here. It gives me strong "incredibly talented small garage band next door" vibes.

Once again really nails that cozy comforting vibe.  On the first listen I feel like I'm revisiting an old favorite song from my youth, even though I've never heard it before.  Sounds immaculate.

Beautiful song heart

Beautiful song smile Already many listens in and it just gets better. Drums are excellent throughout, especially when they get big. That part (could it be a bridge?) is such a satisfying climax to the song, it feels like just the right intensity for something otherwise so delicate.

God this is good.

oh jeez, thank you! i was so stoked when i got the drums email.

and yeah, i had to laugh when you mentioned the "only writing verses" thing on your song this week. i try not to get to bogged down in what's what when i'm writing to keep myself from getting too formulaic. the goal is always for the song to feel like it's moving naturally where it wants to go, even if it doesn't make sense on paper. but yeah, when i thought about it later i was like this song has no chorus and that bigger part seems like it would have to be the bridge. weird! especially because i often don't include a bridge (it's kind of a pet peeve of mine when i hear a bridge that feels unnecessary).

anyway! thank you for listening & sharing this.

Another week of great lyrics and vocals, keep them coming.

... (ノ*°▽°*)... this is soooo good.  The vocals are so well mixed and processed.  Perfect for the vibe of the song. I will echo many of the previous comments about this being another in a string of album ready tracks.  Great work. Oh man, and they lyrical structure again!  Such a musical use of verse structure, rhyme, and meter.  This is an absolute clinic in songwriting.  Bravo!

I am savoring the happiness of being able to listen to this song on the weekend.

sounds like a good way to die. beautiful. heart

This has become my weekly stop for a dose of the feels and the goosebumps. Just amazing.

In particular, that little bit of rising tension at the end with those atmospheric vocals emerging at the end... perfectly timed with the last lyrical refrain, which completely caught me off guard.

Goosebumps. I am in awe and very jealous. Masterful work.

i don't know what to say, but your words mean a lot to me.
i shared your comment with my friend Bil who helped out with this one. that was him doing the atmospheric backing vocal that comes in on the "one more.." section. he wasn't thinking i would include it in the mix as he had just sent it over as an idea of something that he thought i could try. but i really loved the texture and sound of his voice so i worked it in & asked if he was ok with me keeping it in there. thankfully he was! we both really appreciate your feedback here.
THANK YOU!

doesn't need to be said but i'll says it again i wills!  All of these tracks have had such clean production value and such catchy melodies and heartfelt lyrics.  The opening of this puts ya front in center in a movie montage.  The pace of the track and the guitar with your vocal harmonies are awesome.  Those lil strums on the guitar are the best.  Like I should be watching a music video for this on 120mins back in the day smile

The darkness combined with the hopeful, curious attitude is quite something. You've got a real gift for lyrical flow and delivery. Among many other talents, clearly.
