my son (who also sent me the sleepy cat video footage) sent me this video last week and it hit me right in the feels. even the comments were beautiful, which is rare.

i saw that it was licensed for free use so i thought i would record a response of sorts.
i added vox, acoustic guitar, and bass.
will likely record an extended version at some point.

heart

last light of the sun filtered through leaves, splashed across the deck, night wind off the lake, teethed with the chill of autumn; warm voices inside, warm quilts on the bed, quiet and friends.

Beautiful work Josh heart

Peaceful. Light.

Very pleasant listen. Thanks!

i was today years old when i learned you had a son.  amazing!

that is a COZY lil buddy
this actually feels like an M83 interlude track in the best way

Cats mixed with ethereal and uplifting music.  You really can't go wrong with that.

This feels like the audio definition of "lush". Super pretty, thank you for sharing!!! Definitely looking forward to the extended version!!!

this vibe just fits

Definitely too short. You know I have a long breath. Your voice on here is straight Spiritualized. One of my all time favorite bands.
Your son has excellent ears. Thanks for your link and beautiful track.

Well cat ambient is now a thing.  Lovely, a needed escape.

Beautiful.

Makes me want to drift away, float away, and brings a sense of calm and peace. Love that bass creeping in, brings some warmth.

Really great work!

Wonderful.

Ooh those are some vibey thin vocals

Gorgeous. Perfect checkpoint music. Makes the trek here worth all the while. heart
