First weekly beat! All Dirtywave m8.

More samples than I'd like, still learning synthesis on the m8. That's for week 2.

Sounds great, really chunky. Lovely use of the stereo field too.

Now to try and resist reading any more about the M8...

party time! was it easy to make? how was your process?

Great jam!

great low-tempo tinge with original note patterns applied to the classic psy bass pattern

sounds great! Nice change at 2:00 with the new sound entering.

Thanks! The driving bass was a preset on the M8, I found it inspiring and wrote the track around it. Played around for a while with finding the right bass drum and how to fake a sidechain. And from there, felt like it needed lots of otherworldly spooky sounds. A few extra tiny drums here and there, ended up turning into a rave for vampires or something.

Love the driving bass. This would go so well in a John Wick movie ✊

This name seemed totally appropriate to my ears! Great experiment, I’m learning my way around the m8 too.

That's some solid synthwave.

Oh yeah simple and effective Dirtywave!

I have a word generator

I like it, but I'd like to hear a version with the lead synth one octave higher, just to see what that's like

Quite a hypnotic track, nice one! As for naming, sometime I also use a title generator and then change some words or just take the very first thing that comes into my mind when I hit export.

Now if I really want to be fancy and I have a reason within the song for doing so, I might draw a Tarot card and get a title from there, but it's quite seldom.

The vocal stutter section around 2:10 is glorious, masterstroke. Such a dark sound, yet welcoming and attractive AF. Love this heart.
