Finding Yourself, then Dancing with It (2 in 1)

### Lore
You walk deeper into the cave. Water drips from the ceiling into an unseen puddle, that distinctively wet sound echoing throughout the space in a constant rhythm. You can't quite tell the difference between the sounds of new drops and their echoes.
Scrunched up in a corner, you see a mass that catches your eye. It's breathing. You approach it and discover it's actually a person all curled up into a ball. You touch their shoulder trying your best not to startle them. They raise their head. Your eyes lock and you feel a deep sense of connection. It's strange even to put it this way, but this somehow strikes you as a moment of impossibly deep introspection. The two of you stay put like this for a while. A long while. Maybe minutes. Hours? Possibly. Eventually you extend your hand, a kind gesture offering help. You both stand up, but don't let go of each other's hands. It's obvious what has to happen next: you simply must dance.
### Production details
Hey music friends! I hope your week hasn't been a very stressful one.
This week I finally was able to get to get started on my Weekly Beats tune a few days early. On Friday evening, I was practicing before my upcoming piano lesson on Saturday morning, and as usually the case, I keps weaving between what I had to practice and some fun noodling. While doing that back & forth, I found a little kernel of something pretty and thought "Oooohhh, I'm going to try and make this something bigger". So I played it on the keyboard a few more times to flesh out the little pattern and that's what ultimately ended up being the arpeggio pattern that serves as the backbone of this song.
I had a bit of a hard time keeping things simple, but still interesting, but I think I was able to ultimately find a good balance. I also wanted the voices to be simple, but the higher pitched triangle synth that comes in with the more complicated melody was hard to hear, so I added some things to make it a little bit more distinct, like an AHD envelope on MULT set to a super small amount as well as a lowpass filter to spare the listener from its more grating sharpness.
After finishing the song, I fiddled around with the global groove settings just to have some fun and I noticed that I REEEEALLY liked how the song felt after adding some swing to it and bumping the BPM up a tiny bit. The original song felt more quiet and introspective, while the second version sounded groovy and more playful. So I just decided to stick both versions in this same submission. We first hear the slower introspective version without swing, and then, at 2:08, we hear the faster more playful swingy version.
Anyways, I'm really happy with how this one turned out! Looking forward to what y'all will put out this week!!!
Cheers, folks!
