Starting December 29th 2025 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

I like how the track sounds peaceful. The low bass is slurpy and mellow, giving a warm atmosphere to the track, and contrasting with the higher layers.
Love the textured sound to that opening pad. Like lightning and storms bubbling off in the distance. Hope it's a relaxing trip

Love that you know me now over the last few years of weeklybeats, yes I was snowboarding! Great little vacation with the family doing an activity we all enjoy together. Me and the kids really want to snowboard/ski in Hokkaido, hopefully one day. We did visit Japan in the summer and absolutely loved it, too hot that time of year but would love to return during a cooler time.

Wow, BIG MOOD. Very film-noir space music, I love it. Your timing with the vocal sample is impeccable - by the third repeat I was anticipating its return as a rhythmic element, like an echo, it was very haunting.
We didn't get enough snow in the mountains down here in eastern WA, hills only opened for a short time. Changing climate. Glad you still riding up there!

This is the true mark of a good day in the mountains. I wonder if they hybernate. I'm going to go look for some down by the river today. Priorities.

Most nights we get too much light pollution for it, but on a good night, with a clear sky, I'll have to remember to get out there with this track and take it all in.
