life's rhythm

Some fast tempo's for me this week, thought I would pick up the pace a bit compared to my usual 84 to 92 bpm tempos.  Had fun making this one, made a patch with operator for the bass line (controlled by sting) and some pad patches in vcv rack. Watched a video on how to make your own sp 404 style effects in ableton, used them a bit on the drums, I wish I was smart enough to recreate effects like some people, thankfully they show step by step what to do.

Getting a litte Daft Punk at the end. Enjoying the pushed tempo.

Great groove in this track - the vocal sample is perfectly appropriate and has an hypnotic effect. I like the bells against the heavy kick/tom, this gives us a nice range of sounds. Head bopping while listing to it at work.

Excellent groove that has a meditative & hypnotic feel to it.  Love the verb on all the percs and drums. Indeed a head nodder! I saved that same ableton/sp404 vid too but i always end up forgetting to watch lol.

awwww yeah

This is such a percussion showpiece (appropriate with the title lol), but I really love the melodic elements. That bass is kinda perfect (sting is amazing lol), and the acid line is fantastic, distortion is on point. Really clean mix, awesome track! Also go faster lol. See where it takes you!

Sounds like a good video I should peep.

Cool perc on this one. Like the panning snare thing.

Alternate genre version: in all of life there is a riddim
