Ah my favourite time of weekly beats... out on a trip, only have a laptop and a crappy midi controller and somehow a license for the new Cubase 13 courtesy of ex-Yamaha job 
I started this on my phone on Koala Sampler, working on beats and the bassline and then dumped the stems into Cubase, I really love this process of getting something started lazy and then polishing on the computer with the high quality reverbs and sidechains!
I only have Korg VSTi's on my laptop so it's Wavestate and Polysix for the synths.
2024 is the year of breaks it seems!
