Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting December 29th 2025 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

I started with the opening piano bit and wanted to do an eerie interlude with pained vocals as like a mourning song, but I couldn't muster the enthusiasm to write lyrics and then perform them, so I instead synth'd the vocal melody. I still hear it as having a funeral-esque vibe. Maybe a vocal version down the road.
