Horny Sexbots in your neighborhood!

Local idiot tries to make trance.

It's alright I guess. I've never really delved into trance, but I've been on a psy-trance listening spree and feeling like I could whip up a good track and throw some sick guitar licks over it. So this is kinda a prototyping phase and seeing where it takes me. This does not feature sick guitar licks sadly. I was pressed for time.
If I revisit it, for sure we're gonna have some fun vocal clips in the start (thinking Futurama 'Dont date robots!' PSA) and some sweet licks to replace some of the mildly overused synth lines.

I'm finally feeling like I'm getting back into that groove. End of summer roadie work combined with studio work and covering vacations was brutal.

also i WAS PROMISED HOT GUITAR LICKS

*still very fun, and look (listen) forward to where you go on this sonic journey. i like that fast tremolo chopping kinda deal that comes in around the halfway point.
glad to hear things are chilling out a bit!

I’m liking what you have going here! Good energy and flow, and I like what you were doing with the leads.

I’m really looking forward to the sonic experiments you’re describing - some added grit and chaos will be awesome. I’ll be sure to keep tuning in for the next episode 😁

SAVE THE ROBOTS.

I'm excited for guitar getting into the mix here. It's a great new direction!

Love the dirty sound of this. The moments when that kinda-alarm-y lead gets gated are actually pretty lit

P.S. Trance best genre, change my mind ^^

Man the licks are hard. I overthink and trash so so many of them then burn out. Trying tonight to rip over a 1-3-2-4 and nothing is good enough. I also think I am fundamentally missing something from trance and I can't put my finger on it.

Thanks! It's always a process and I get so easily distracted with motifs from different genres. I always wanna figure out how things work then wholesale abandon them once I discover another sonic mystery.

Licks are haaaarrrd. I need to be happier with simple chord play and not over complicate things.

Its got some okay bits to it for sure, I think sonically I'm still running adjacent and not with it yet. And yes, Trance rules.

Oh yais I entered the club, nodding my head to each dancer on the floor, watched the smoke float thru the lights and then was rewarded with slick synth lines.  The opening dirty bit grooves so nice but then the lil flickering arp that pans in and out just fills the stereo mix out so nicely.  The lil fx alarm-blip sounds like the robots were a bit excited smile  Awesome arps that get peppered in and out.  Gave me some Juno Reactor feels too towards the end with those arps.  Nice work!
