Lots of failed starts this week, decided to just go with some easy synthwave again!

Nothing wrong with a simple cruising.
- Devieus

I dig! I cruised!

A synthwave yes, but it has this ipaghost vibe, especially at the beginning. It reminds me of the quality of the tracks that Gab Manette would pull (I would love for him to make a come back on weekly beats!). That bass is awesome. Is it another track made only with Sytrus?
The rubber lead from 2:30 is delicious. Like lemon syrup on top of the haiwan blue sorbet.

That sounds delicious! Yeah, I miss Gab! I hope he comes back one day!
Yep, I've been all Sytrus, since early 2020! Luckily phat saw synths like the Juno are fairly easy to recreate with Sytrus!

Maybe it's the bright orange GIF or the persistent staccato synth chords, but I'm Plastic Beach vibes from this in the best of ways. Love it!

I'm not sure I know that album well enough to spot the similarity in vibes, but thank you!

Wow, great tune & production! That ascending scale + reverb is elating. The progressions keeps it very interesting throughout.

Love that animated gif.

Might be easy for you, but damn your execution is good. Not sure I am fan of that much panning automation but still very cool!

And on speakers it is probably not as intrusive. smile

Awesome sound palette.

Will send him a message... I'd love to hear his positive synthwave touch on some new material.

is it a cheese electric guitarsolo at 2:25? I am not sure.

That grooving bassline and those retro-arp ascensions sound super rad together ^_^. Especially like synth-guitar solo!

Yeah, I agree, I felt there needed to be some movement to stay interesting, but maybe it didn't!

Just a cheese PWM solo!

Sounds like you had a fun commute!

I bumped it again. There's something really really chill and nice about this. Really glad I got to spent more time w/ it, it's an excellent tune heart

Digging the deep bass and full spectrum of synths in this.  Excellent melodies as always.  smile

Thanks! It's a fun setup to play with!

like totally awesome gnarly radical summer jam ipaghost!

Those glissandos and rhythmic delay effects are magical.  Really comes together into such an 80s funky groove! Lots of cool stereo pan and filter effects.

Thanks!

oh my goodness gracious i could just listen to that opening chord progression on LOOOOP

what is happening there?  it's like a a chord is being played, and then something is shaking and freaking out behind it.  like a warbly vhs tape.

I also hate you (love you!) because this was “easy synthwave” - this is so amazingly difficult to me!  that one descending lead line is really emotionally sad (in a good way) (repeating at 2:53)

Love the title, funny how you found two words that rhyme, are connected, and set the scene.  (to me, you have to have the Barrette because you’re in the convertible and your hair would be flying without it.)

Hmmmm, I think you are talking about the wow & flutter? I use FL's Delay 3 for a heavy dose of wow & flutter on this track, and even more on that piano-ish synth.
I don't think you give yourself enough credit!
Yeah, that 2:53 synth line is good, I think I was trying to channel Tears For Fears or something there.
Exactly what I was thinking about the barrette! Plus, I remember barrettes used to be extremely popular in the 80s.
Speaking of which, yeah, really wish Gab was back!
