Thanks! I'm glad someone likes my voice, I don't care for it, but I write all this stuff pretty last minute, so there is very little time to get anyone else to sing it, even TTS can take too long to cut and tune. I don't really have time for more than a couple of takes, so it's really rough, but I kind of like that. I also like having lyrics to melodies that shouldn't have lyrics, a bit inspired by Rainbow Road.

Yes, all the sounds and voices are me. It's hard to say if it's Hertzfeldt inspired, since I've been using a kid cheer sound in my game sound design work for many years. For those I usually use a stock recording, but I can't use stock when sharing the project files. I started using it because I really liked the kids cheering in Puzzle Bobble, and it makes game stingers very fun and rewarding. But back in my Flash developer days, I did create one for an hidden Easter egg homage to Hertzfeldt which also used my voice. So it's probably in my subconscious! I also use chimes a ridiculous amount in my work, to the point I had to buy my own set because stock catalogs just don't have enough. But I was really happy with how the FM ones came out. Also the bongos turned out excellent, I wish they didn't get lost in the mix, but it was a rush job this week.
