Yeah! Probably could have milked it a bit more, but had to go fast!

Came here to make the same DLC comment!

THEY WANT ME TO PAY HOW MUCH THOUGH???

THIS IS PAY TO WIN, THE NEW RACERS ARE WAY BETTER

there are so many notes and chords on this puppy.  some game dev really needs to license this music; the game is already so clear in my mind!  It's like mario kart, but maybe has virtua racing graphics, and then in between races there is a little animal crossing manage your home and your garage fun, and then there is a little dating sim about whether you flirt with the opposing team racer or not.  and then online multiplayer gets you new cool gear for your home/garage, and then you can paint your cars and get exclusive stickers if you win a certain race, i'll stop now

god the closing chord gives me strength

WHOA THE MERCH IS REAL!

Not paid DLC, just a free quality bonus update from the hard working buns at Cottontail Rally HQ!
Hopefully you will soon learn music theory, then you can explain all these notes and chords to me since I don't know what I'm doing!
I pretty much was thinking the game would be along a lot of the same lines as you! Visually think Choro-Q with bunny ears. Didn't consider the dating sim mechanic though lol! There will be a very accurate DMV simulation, and you have to buy auto insurance through an agent too!

The bunny auto store is open! I'll be adding more merch, anything you want?

I love the gradients!  How did you find a place/make gradients on a shirt?  I would like to do that as well.  I'm going to make a purchase soon!

Thanks! Gradients can be done in a couple of ways. With a single silk screens it's called "Split Fountain", you are literally mixing the inks on the screen for each batch. This is done by putting dabs of ink on your screen and moving your squeegee back and forth a bit to get them to mix a bit. The more you print, the more it smooths out. Not hard to do if you are printing it by hand, but there will naturally be slight variations and imperfections, usually the first ones won't be as smooth, but they look cool to me regardless, since it does have a cool handmade feel to it. I'm not sure if print shops offer this service, but I'd imagine some of the smaller ones might. If you do print by hand, I can show you how it's done, it's super easy and fun, lots of opportunity to experiment with angles and techniques, and a really old print technique!

The way some big shops might do it now is to use CYMK halftone printing, which is a lot of screens, and you obviously have a halftone pattern which isn't super smooth, but the results are the same every time. Doing it by hand is way cheaper and unique!

In my store, I went with the Direct To Garment method using the Printify service. Printify is a Print On Demand service that connects to both different print providers and a bunch of e-commerce sites like Etsy, or self hosted tools like Woocomerce. I'm using Monster Digital as the print provider, and the shirts I'm using are the Bella+Canvas 3001 which has a quality and fit I've always liked at a decent price point. DTG printing is an ink jet technology, so no screens or setup is required, so I didn't have to make any bulk orders or anything. I definitely make a lot less per shirt than my older hand made ones, but I think it's an ok trade off since they also take care of the fulfillment, packaging and shipping too. They also have a wide range of items through different print providers. I still have all of my old screens though, so I might hand print some in the future.

There is also Direct To Film printing which prints on a film substrate which is then adhered to the garment using heat. And then there is Dye Sublimation, which prints an image to a paper which then gets heated to embed the ink gases into the synthetic fabric, physically changing the fabric. This means the color lasts longer, and print details are usually sharper and vibrant, but you are limited to synthetic materials. This is common with athletic wear and all-over prints. Let me know if you need any more info!

Nobunny's got better puns than you!

Thumping bass and jazzy stabs! And Bonus: enjoyed those comments on screen printing.  I am an on and off again screen printer and have a press and flash dryer in my basement.  Still need lots of practice and had been thinking about doing some single screen gradients like you described, so this is very inspirational.  Love your designs and did some early xmas shopping.

Ooo love the energy here!

Nice! I used to be into all types of printing back in the day! Silk screen was easy to keep up with over the years since you can get by without much equipment or space. Sounds like you have a nice setup! I need to make a dark drying box for my basement. I usually just eyeball print on a table without a machine, but it looks like there are some affordable ones these days so I might have to get one someday. Hope to see your designs sometime!

My set up is good.  If you don't mind the spiders in the basement (we have come to an understanding). I have a really crappy four color press I bought a few years back.  No brand, not expensive, and not sophisticated. I regret the purchase because it's not reasonable to do 4 colors for fun.  Four colors is work... that's a job.  It's 4 times the cost in screens, materials, 8 times the work and set up time, etc... Instead, I should have spent the same amount of money on a very nice single or two color press for better quality build.  I bought a simple flash dryer that enables me to use plastisol inks for the first time, so no regrets there.  Everything else, I built. Drying racks, exposure table with halogen lamp, pedestal for the press, etc. What I really need to do is work on technique and get more practice in. I'll try and remember to send you a shirt next time I'm printing. Thanks... for the reply back. I love talking and learning about printing smile

Those are some good points! I never got to use a multi-screen t-shirt printer, at most I've used large art print beds in college. But I'll keep that in mind! Personally I like the whole process of printing, it's definitely no where near the most time consuming type of printing I've done (Photogravure wins hands down, but I highly recommend it if you ever get an opportunity!) Really cool to hear you made all that stuff! I improvise everything, mostly because I'm printing in a small kitchen, but I'd like to make a space for printing one day. Technique is really big with silk screen printing, but also just having a really nice squeegee makes all the difference! I'd like to get an aluminum one if I print again.

Fun fact -- that was the weekend @license was in Seattle and we spotted a bun at the hotel check-in area and were like "yoooh, IPAGHOST!" heart

So fast!
