Cottontail Rally - DMV Drift

By Ipaghost on August 7, 2022 11:48 pm

Download the 60KB project here!

Cottontail Rally is the first game where you have to go to the DMV to get your driver's license by drifting through the DMV office building. Weave in and out of the queues, drive over office desks, knock over forms and rubber stamps and whatever you do, *do not* spill the examiner's coffee! If you pass, pose for your worst license photo!

Ohhh fantastic bunny energy! Love it!

Lagomorphs with licenses? What a concept. I hop I live to see it come to fruition one day. big_smile

It might take a long time, but hop-fully it happens!

Yesss! I'm glad you all like Cottontail Rally as much as I do, I think about it too much!

DANG IT!

I missed the auction and now people are scalping it.  I really love this game, I remember playing it as a kid.  You did a great job recreating the original!  I mean, it's not as good as the original hardware, but I have no idea where you could get a Ghost64 console these days...

If you are quick you still might be able to get your hands on a copy of BunBros64. It's not racing, but it's jammed packed with dozens of bunny snuggles! And has immersive rumble pack support!

The first lap was a doozy, but I think I got it in the end.

i always love the juicy sound of your synthwork, it's shiny, glossy, beautiful, with sweet sparkles in the highs, tangy mids, and rounded out with full bass that melts like marshmallows all over my ears. i shower you and everybunny you love with great praise heart

That is some excellent comment right there! I might have to steal that for promo material! Thank you!

Something about hearing that initial starting chime that makes my brain wanna sit down and play any kart racing game smile
Raja def gave the perfect summary for your music.  The chord changes and progression in your tracks are always so full of energy.  Gotta love it!  Oooh I finished the race! Love the outro smile

I definitely have been playing more mario kart 8 deluxe lately since they started releasing new tracks, still not enough though, so I have to make my own tracks!

The little big bass here derailed work today -- I heard it in the car, but really appreciated detail on headphones.

Getting ready for that license photo.

Lol! Nothing is real here. That is a copy of Bugs Bunny Rabbit Rampage for SNES! Glad you like the track! Hope you are feeling better!

That gif from the description is cuteness overload. I love how the bass conveys the puffy fluffiness of a baby bunny. "the puffy fluffiness of a baby bunny" - that could be a band's name.

I'd listen to that band! Reminds me of my pet peeve when a band has a really cute name, or is retro video game reference, but does not make cute music, or chiptunes, etc.

DMV Bunny only has two pens. Blue for correct answers and red for wrong answer.  This is all blue pen!  If only the real DMV was this fun.

It can be! You just have to drive through it next time!
