There's too much stanque funk

Trying to add some more depth and color to my songs with more pitch bends and slides. I don't know why They are hard to and where to place them, how to use them correctly and flow in and out the song. I guess it's practice but stuff like this is where I feel weakest and need more practice with. Had some fun getting the hang of it even if I started this on Monday, I didn't finish this until today around 2 with toying around and experimenting with the slides and bends.
