Choppity chop chop, everything is chopped.
This week is all about mangling samples until they sound like different songs. Lyrics, drums, it doesn't matter―what does matter is that even lame samples can be interesting if you use enough RET, STA, SLI, and PLA.
@noggin's Sixam track from last week impressed me with some great strings that turned out to be M8's wavsynth, so there's also some wavsynth pretending to be other things.
(Also: I don't know if it was like this for anyone else, but it was surprisingly hard to put something together this week. Hoping that's not representative of the rest of Q2's difficulty level.)
