Awesome upright bass line. Love all the little details in this one. Also dig how it has a slightly off kilter feeling at first then comes home with the vocal harmony bit and the jazzy melody before launching into some house/techno jazz mashup.

Super cool vibe on this one. Love how it starts a little formless and the bursts into being. Great bass sound. It takes some interesting twists and turns into some different and unexpected places along the way as well. I didn't predict at all where we were going to end up.
I don't think I will EVER stop being impressed with your incredible M8 chops, holy fuck man... This sounds so absurdly fresh! Amazing work!!! The female choir-like vocals are especially lovely.

I wanted to call a track “cold open” for a while, kudos on the title.
Secondly, WHAT A BADASS TUNE. Love those drum chops, the drum work is A+++. Impeccable progression of the track, and I find it this really quite inspiring for how dramatic the changes are while the core identity stays the same. Really, sincerely, spectacular: from crazy drums to the vocal chorus to the housy groove to the chip breakdown: not one of them underdeveloped, every one convincing AF.

This is awesome! Love the breaks and the way it drops to 4 on the floor is great. I can't believe you sequenced this completely on the M8... what a mission. Great use of filters in this one. And a cheeky lil pulse wave at the end hehehe.
You pulled the audience directly with that slick upright bass intro. It’s like you pull us by the collar into a smoky bar. You can’t see the musicians with all the smoke but boy is the music groovy. The beat is contagious. I especially dig the vocal elements you put there, it’s so tastefully executed. This whimsical high synth adds a layer of lightness. And then chiptune? Wow what a trip! Thank you for this track, way to start the year!
Oooh slick upright bass and then those breakbeats got me groovin right away. The vocals take me back and love how you switched it up from the breakbeats to the next section. Dreamy lead lines drive the track further. The bass is so catchy when it comes back in around 3min mark. Hell yea chip tune goodness to round it out. \m/

What a journey through the different parts. In the beginning I felt like listening to an old Ninja Tunes compilation, in the middle like being in a future arcade and in the end like playing SEGA 
Amazing song! The sound has a gentle controlled energy, and I love your melodies.
This is like a lost song from a '70s describing a future we were denied. I appreciate the careful lead melody programming, feels really organic. The unexpected full turn into chiptune weirdly belongs so well here.

this seamlessly transitioned to different worlds - incredible cold open!
The twist and turns grabs my attention, while the returning elements glues it together as a whole. My favorite ingredient is the high sine-like lead.
