Something different from last week. Sorry for the sloppy mix.

It's been half a week since you left
I wake up every morning and I speak
"Oh god please, freeze time
And cement the sky
Let every clock fall silent
Still the dawn's violence
Stop the spinning
I'm begging
Anything to keep another day from beginning
Could you glue the stars to the ceiling?
I know I'm asking a lot
But you're the last hope I've got, oh god"
And yet the sunrise is indifferent
And as her light gently brushes my face
I find a small sense of peace in the fact
That somewhere she does the same
To you
But for me
It's just one more day away from you
From you

Do I love beautiful heartfelt lyrics sung over unhinged drum fills? Yes. Yes, I do.

There is definitely something going on, a powerful emotion, quite dark but comforting with this tipping around 00.48 that feels good

What an atmosphere you managed to build. Waiter! Waiter! More of that voice please!

This is amazing!

I'm late to the party on a bunch of these, but I'm having a blast checking out your submissions. Your lyrics are a real treat in these songs! big_smile

It's got a cool energy, it's not high energy, but it is good
