A remix of Oh, Fox River by sad_infamy_sings.
It's all too fitting that the last track is a remix, and is also the first WB colleague I reached out to for a collaboration, way back mid January.
Sad Infamy's songs are more fluid and free than most things I've done, so approaching their material was not without a certain anxiety. I genuinely think that sad infamy originals have a sincerity that is kind of off-limits --with all their field-recording-esque on-site recording, fourth-wall-breaking, storytelling aspects (and their songs, music, lyrics, poems, writing). So the remix is kind of none of these things -- just M8 + Felt Instruments.

Happy New Year, everyone! I guess we made it through 2022... I thought for a while of something to say looking back at WB, but I think the summary is rather brief.

I wanted to thank the folks who were kind enough to let me mess about w/ their sounds & music in 2022 (in chronological order):
gesceap, wangus, raja, ipaghost, noggin, jimmac, laamaa, ineff, emily, license, and sad_infamy_sings.
And to folks who listened and left comments, even after September mark when things weren't going great for me and I slipped (a lot) on listening -- thank you, sincerely, and I'll return the favor sooner than later. Thanks to everyone who's been making tunes this year. It's been dope.
