I actually started this track before week 14's track but I wasn't happy with where it was going. As soon as I finished week 14, I started experimenting with this one again and decided to turn it into a super villain theme. I couldn't decide if I wanted to stick with the square wave for the melody or go with an FM instrument to kinda give a Sega Genesis/Mega Drive kind of feel. Ultimately, I like both and decided to incorporate the two. It's supposed to kind of mimic two super villains kind of arguing with each other about who's badder lol.

I really like how this track turned out. It was a ton of fun to make but I wish I had made it a bit longer. I was originally envisioning an infinitely looping track for a video game's boss "castle" but it turned into more.

Hope everyone had a great week 15!

Both is good, it's usually the answer in life, I've found.

I love the funky groove on this one (that bass line!). The glitchy sounds combined with the voice-like melodies really do make it sound like two bosses are arguing with each other. The arpeggios in the ending section are great for upping the energy before the close out. Nice job!

If I'm dancing in my chair, that must mean it's good. Love it.

Finally added the video lol.

Thank you! I'm glad you liked it!

He done did it again! I want an album of all of these! Such a coherent and creative sound always.

I have a soft spot in my heart for this kind of chiptune. It reminds me a lot of FearofDark but with your own distinct style separate from his, just similar enough in texture/aesthetic for me to group you two in my mind smile. I wish I had the patience to program chiptune in a tracker like that, I don't know how you all do it!

Thank you! I was actually thinking about pulling some of these wb tracks into an album with some of my other (unreleased) stuff. I'll be sure to share here if I do! smile

Thank you! I've not listened to FearofDark but now I'm gonna go check their stuff out. You definitely can make chiptune stuff in a tracker. Just takes some practice is all! I'd recommend poking at LSDJ in an emulator to get started. The default LSDJ manual is a great reference to get started and I'd be glad to answer any questions etc... smile

Drunk supervillain! Sleazy, swung funk. The slowdown made me do an "oh" out loud. heart (Incredible economy of means as always!)
