Belmont in C Minor

By iHz on June 12, 2022 10:52 pm

This is another track that I started right after getting my M8. I've never quite gotten it to right where I wanted it to be but I think it's close enough.

This week was rough. Hurt my right foot and have been dealing with that more than I'd like. It's finally on the mend now so hopefully next week will be better.

love that driven energy in this track! fuk ya, let's gooooooo!!!!!! heart
(also, sorry to hear bout the injury, hope you're already back to normal and that next week is awesome for ya)

Everything you do is magic -- this goes hard, but the absolutely perfect way you use those arps in exactly the right place and exactly the right time raises hairs on the arms. Delectable!

(Really sorry to hear about hurt foot, take good care of yourself, I learned last year that I'm now at that age where "hurt knee 'cuz of a silly VR workout" no longer means "Imma walk it off" and that's a bummer.)

sounds like a super meat boy warp zone

(also got me at first, i thought this was turning out to an Aerodynamic cover)

I know that melody!!!
Great job!

It does sound a lot like Aerodynamic at first (intentional callback?) but then it's re-contextualized into something completely new. The overarching melody slaps. I especially like how it trades off from one synth to another.

A great adventure awaits, take this song with you
