2 mins to go!

Loops in Ableton.  Really not sure about the time change but no time to go back to it now!

Guitar loops heavily processed with my gen loss 2

yessssssss

Dope Lo-Fi loops!

Very pretty!

the breakdown at 2:30 to the end is great!

Smooth warps and flutters. I love this analog textures from your generation loss. Beautiful guitars as well.
Keep on rocking.

I like the textures esp when they clear out a bit. If they kept being muddy it would be a problem, but this context gives them a reason to be. Maybe the guitar at times is a bit too muddy for too long, near the end of the track.

The change around 1:30 is nice. Is that what you were worried about? I also like the beat that actually gives life to the muddy textures. Nice soft synth melodies in the beginning, a nice one starts just around the same time as the alarm synth. I guess the track lacks a clear direction and there might be too much going on that tries to say something all at once. I stand by the 1:30 change is actually good, maybe the thing that saves the track.

Nothing wrong with the time change, but two things you could do: throw in a little more bass, and the nice sounds in the higher registers could also use a boost.

Yeah - the change at 1:30 threw me off. To be honest, it all could be improved by not rushing and leaving more time for it! I’m a sucker for starting too late and not building in time to evaluate and revisit the piece.

Thanks! I’ve never really mixed properly I don’t think. That’s something I want to try and tackle with WB this year!

Welcome back to WB, hta!  This track is evocative as ever, but that beat is new tongue  I see the mention of loops in Ableton—are you still recording your guitar from your phone?
