I'm writing a novel about a lion at the zoo and the young man who befriends it. I was thinking about it as I came up with this idea, so I guess they're connected via some thread of creativity of another. It was hard for me to get everything right, but this take is one of the better ones.

That's a pretty track. I like the doubling you introduce from 1:00, this gives a nice accent to the melody. This feels like the first version of a track that can be developed much much further. It has a very nice dreamy quality, and the title is very appropriate.
Nice one! I like the bass line in the middle section. A good contrast to the pedal bass in the main section, and goes well with the main melody. And I also like the repeated note using the open string. I agree with Ked, it could be developed into a more fleshed out version at some point.
