The Movement of Mountains

Does it prog? I like to think so.

Still did the 3 track thing, but split the lead/ rhythm guitar into 2 tracks to easier EQ the Low A / High E situation.
Put a slight pan on them so it adds a bit of character when they swap between each other.

Figured I'm tired of rushing at the end of the week to get a song done, so I made a consistent effort through out the week to chip away at it instead of cramming.

Turns out if I put in 3x the effort I get 3x the song, rather than a song 3x quicker hahaha.

Proper prog bro, an actual musical journey, and even of correct length!!!! Really dig this, this might be your best one of the year. Totally dig how the first section sounds way more like 70s style prog then gets more modern as the dirt kicks in, and epic melody end section. Everything here is exactly as it should be.

Thanks for the kind words! I had a moment where I thought the track was pretentious, so I doubled down and committed to creating the musical journey that just "feels right" to me and not compromising the song due to some anxiety fueled malarkey. In doing this the song got like a minute longer hahaha.

It progs well enough. Great work.
