Catching the light

And here I thought recording a solo guitar piece would be easy. Turns out with nothing else going on to hide the hiccups and quirks of the performance one can perform quite the self critique.

This started as an idea to get this WB done quickly, but soon grew into something I really enjoy. I think it's something I'm going to be playing for a long time into the future!

I hear the race to catch it, and then at the very end arriving at the light: A TRIUMPHANT TRACK! big_smile

Thanks! big_smile

I like the main riff - it sounds like a speed run. You're getting quite a full sound with only that guitar!

Really dig that ascending motif at 0:49 that gives the solo it's calling card. Really nice resolution there at the end! Very clean playing too.

This rocks!
