WeeklyBeats for me is a way to write more and get better with REAPER/RENOISE/effects/VSTs/mixing. Music for me has been focused on playing in live bands (punk/hardcore) and making chiptune music with trackers. Hopefully, writing a track from start to finish using REAPER or RENOISE will broaden my musical horizons and help me accomplish some of my other musical goals (like recording and producing a 2-man surf/synth record for example 
)
