I have been taking part of flip a beat club from time to time.

I updated this track with new sections and filled it out, made it a real song.

It was from FABC 37.

Weekly poem

"Seneca"

A pact was made in womb
Paid in debt for birth
Loaned time repaid with life
A parasite welcomed unknowingly
We’re in the red while,
these credits and debits reconcile
Bankers patience and scythe to reap
The sewn seeds left in passing

cool flip ᝰ.ᐟ

your piece and poem were a lot more complex than a simple picture

i don't know much about seneca's story

but the theme of reaping and sowing
"Bankers patience and scythe to reap"
kinda stuck out to me & the image felt like one of a seed growing just to be plucked away...
also i thought tht plant kinda unfurled nice with the beats
"The sewn seeds left in passing"
is a beautiful line

Your tracks always have such a unique vibe and sound. Top-tier Nanoloop. Good luck with this year's WB!

Wow - such a sound.  I love how it suddenly drops key with the sample and then flips back again.  Love listening to your stuff as always.

Nice to see you around these parts again smile

Really nice vibes. Maximum result with minimalistic tools, heart

Excellent analogue found-footage sort of feel. Great beat & a palpably grounded sound filled with life. The fact that I can't comprehend Nanoloop makes what you've done unknowable alchemy.

Excellent chill vibes.  Love the beat and the outro with the sparkling synth melody.  The poem was really cool too and I could almost hear a spoken word version of it included with this.  Good to see you back and looking forward to more!

definitely faved

a beauty, with some deep heaviness below the surface heart

great work! evocative and chill!!

So stoked to see you back on WB, and what a badass tune. Still trying to figure out how you make the pitch LFOs sound so undeniably yours on NLmobile… (not for copying, as a means of deeper appreciation).

(Do you mix in a DAW or is this straight out of tablet render? Crazy good sounding.)

nice work mister!

fyi always straight export, just minimal mastering after

sounds like being outside

Fuckin looooove this man!

Welcome back, and a pleasant song to start. It's a bright and cautious sound. I really like this 0:53, every note I imagine the sun in different positions of the sky over the drift ice. So nice I can look forward to your music again.

Ohh this is real chill!! Works very well with the rain we’ve been having in LA smile

very cool retrovibe and still sounds freshly new!

love this

This is really great. The moments of fluttering intensity, followed by structure & the warbly pads in the back. There's a lot too unpack in this song. It reminds me of some of the bits in Fez (the game).

listening to the poem while playing the track
amazing

going to send that player soon!

glad you are back, huge fan heart

woozy in a good way! this is cool!

/me silently listens, drooling.

go team pitch up big_smile

Love how the track feels like it's breathing in and out. The 0:55-1:30 section is a nice little relaxing reprieve, and I like the little chord pops!

It still amazes me how you can get so much out of such minimalist piece of software... maybe because it is such a minimalist piece of software wink

Excelente trabajo, como siempre !!!

flip a beat club is a fun concept and really enjoyed your flip!

huuuuuge fan of your work gescaep, and this track absolutely slaps
