Seems like a cool idea Dwight, who will be the grand melody master though? I'm sure we could get it going if someone gets a melody then puts up a new thread with "Week 4 Theme" or something.

Ed - It's perfectly fine to use the same lyrics but rotate and shift them into different genres.

Some awesome looking studios here. I have studio envy...
Most of my gear is in the teaching room so the 'studio' is just an interface and mic(and the double bass of course). A new preamp and mic are the next additions on the long list of upgrades.

Ableton is my daw of choice. I used FL studio for 7 years prior and still think FL is 'superior' in electronic music but Ableton works intuitively with actual instruments and electronics. Also the capability for live performance is awesome.

My main aim is to develop my composition skills using double bass. Second is to gain more experience with ableton.
