Gonna try to keep making videos regularly. Maybe not weekly, but we'll see..

yeah I think so. I don't check this forum often enough but it'd be good to have something to go by if I ever get started early on my weeklybeat (lol)

Wait, I'm confused.. shouldn't we be deciding on the theme for the following week, not the current week?

teledildonix live set for Square Sounds.

We can't make the tracks public until after/during the festival , which is killing me (we want it to mostly be a surprise).. but we're so close. It's gonna be worth it to blow people's minds with some totally new stuff. Either that or it'll be so next level that people won't understand it.

how's this going to work anyway? how will we all use the same account? or do we submit our tracks to you and you then submit it to LANDR?

We will share a generic email address and password. I've got login access via facebook in case anything goes haywire wink

And yeah, log in whenever, upload whatever. Each person starts a new "Project" so that they can easily see just their tracks.

Great! Count me in, I sent you an email via the forum; didn't get a confirmation but I assume it went through..

LANDR wise, I have zero interest.  I think fast mastering is a massive part of the weekly beats learning process for me.

I hate mastering, so I think something like this or izotope's products are ideal for me big_smile

was gonna ask this. I'm in if I can just log in myself and throw tracks at it anytime. I just tested some of the super secret teledildonix tracks from our squaresounds live set and they sound even more awesome after mastering.

yeah I'm in

I've acquired a lot of new gear since last time, I'd love to do some studies

I dropped out a while ago.. mostly because I was writing stuff for a label release. Now I'm working on a nanoloop clone in pd and haven't really made any music in a couple of weeks. Maybe once I'm done with that I'll crank out some new tunes with it big_smile

I missed two weeks and now I'm wondering if I should pick it up again.. It got difficult because I'm working on releases for labels and also compilation submissions, so I have been beating weekly, just not posting about it big_smile

Weekly Beats has served its purpose though—it's got me deep into nanoloop sound design, and indirectly helped me get some label interest, so it's been a great challenge!

I may pick it up again in a couple of weeks since I'm hoping to build my thrash metal guitar chops up to the level they were when I was 15/16 (so I can actually record some of the guitar parts for my new prog album).. so be prepared for some shitty thrash tracks tongue

Got my studio set up over the weekend, but lost all motivation due to just being so exhausted from moving house.. so I just played some random guitar crap into Music Memos and let the app do the work.. haha

The next two weeks will be interesting, since I'm moving house in a week.. I may just end up putting up some shitcore or crappy power electronics tracks, hah

mine are beginning to drop in quality, just quick jams, mostly because I'm working on some longer/more complex stuff at the same time, which I am keeping to myself unless I can find a label to release it through

I'm still chugging along, mostly thanks to having a bunch of stuff that is easy to jam with—I can just submit a quick improvised thing if I'm not feeling up to writing a full piece. Having said that, I think I may end up getting to the point that I did in 2014, where I just fall over because I keep just making a bunch of quick and loose tracks.. nothing wrong with that, but I hope to get back into making some prog stuff soon, which I don't want to show anyone until I can release it. Perhaps I'll just upload edited versions of some early jams for those prog pieces.

Also, I'm moving house in a few weeks, so the quality of my work may wane a little in that time tongue
