Well, you should check the manual, pages 14 and 15 re: envelopes. Basically you want to hit the DCA/DCO/DCW ENV key (whichever you want to modify the attack of) to enter envelope edit mode.

Here's the manual if you need it:

Every time I start reading about music theory, my brain glazes over and I just want to stop writing music at all. I guess I am just too stupid for it. I think this experiment is going to get me to realize that I should just stop fooling myself, sell all my gear and use the money to buy a kitten shelter or something.

I failed this week. Time wasn't on my side at all and, to my shame, I turned nothing in.

I bleep and bloop without chip. What does that mean?

I was incredibly frustrated earlier in the week (see post on writers block) but managed to shit out a track on the last day. Arrangement wasn't up to snuff due to time constraints, and this song made me realize, to my chagrin, that I have a huge issue with my monitors. Oh well.

At least this competition has gotten me back into writing. Also, I want to apologize in advance as I am going to be sticking to 4x4 minimal techno for a while.

God damn this was tough. I actually wrote 5 different songs. The one I'm about to upload I didn't start until about 10 PM last night. I need to manage my time better. I hope next week goes better.

I scrapped what I was working on and started all over again. My toolchain has recently changed, so I'm getting into that awful point of time where I have an idea but I can't get to the sounds in time before the inspiration has flown the coop. I think I'll be OK. This weekend is probably going to be 40 hours of writing though smile

Ah, I knew this would happen. Sit down to write a song for week 2, get a nice beat going, go to write a melody aaaaaaaaand nothing. How do you combat writers block?

Man...screw all you massively talented jerks taking all the wind out of my sails! Some of your stuff is just crazy-good.

No tunes in the key of A minor!

Fine, fine. A Aeolian only.

Spoons, gamelan, whoopee cushion.

Stop experimenting and start writing.
