keep yo' streak my dude! https://weeklybeats.com/music/upload?ha … 3f04235914

Thanks a lot, Wisefire smile Much appreciatted. I arrived home Monday evening and went straight to bed, so I uploaded mine Tuesday morning.

Once everything is finished it's really nice to look at a complete streak of songs smile

Hello, WB family

I’m still at work and won’t be ending shift and arriving home until Monday afternoon. Can I have an upload link in advance? I’m sorry to bother so often. I’d love to keep my streak in such crazy times.

Thanks a lot smile

Not a problem, here you go - Week15 lifeline

Here at WeeklyBeats, customer satisfaction is our #1 goal.  Here's a recent photo of Aday, at our corporate headquarters!

hahaha The fact is Weeklybeats support is really one of the best. Thanks again to Aday and the rest of the Weeklybeats gang.

Back in the real work, I expect to deal with someone like this one:

Thanks a lot, Aday. I've been quite sloppy lately. It's been really appreciated!!!

Sorry. I upload my thing, pressed "submit" but never typed the "title" field. When I realised I had a dialogue waiting for me to type it, it was too late. Can I have an upload link, please?

Thanks a lot, Little Scale!!!

Things got complicated and I didn't get to my computer until Monday afternoon. My song this week is nothing to write home about but at least I could mantain my streak.

Hope you and the whole WB "staff" is staying fine and safe smile

Hi! Sorry to bother you before the deadline.

It's roughly 2 hours before the deadline. I'm still on the road and I haven't got my laptop with me. I thought I synced my song to the cloud so I could access it anywhere but I left it in a local folder. There's no way I could reach my song until tomorrow morning.

May I ask for an early upload link in advance, please?

My goal is simply to last longer than I did in WB2018 but, more importantly, not get so damn stressed about hitting the deadlines.

You made some fantastic killer beats last year. Hope to see more of that coming this 2020.

Prior to 2012 I would NEVER "finish" a song, after making beats for almost a decade by that time. Since WB2012 I've made hmm, 250 tunes or so and consider 95% of them "finished" as what they are, where there's always been a few key tracks from each round of WeeklyBeats that I bookmark to come back and make a more fresh version with more time and skill gained etc.

Basically my goal is sit through a whole notebook of "things to do to those 98% finished Weeklybeats tracks" and finally put some EP out on Bandcamp.

And I'd love to get more involved in the community, maybe showcasing all the amazing talent here through a podcast.

I'm struggling to produce videos for the tracks, since Youtube is my only "social" output (No Facebook)

Is it me or Soundcloud is not working anymore (for reaching new listeners)?

Glad to see so many familiar faces. Best wishes in this 2020!!!

Won't be arriving home on time today, where I have my project. I'm still at work and I'm posting from my phone.

Can I ask for an upload slot in advance (it's still Sunday here)?

Thanks a lot, really

Thanks a lot, Wisefire! I finally arrived almost at lunchtime. You made my day

i've got ya. Here ya go: https://weeklybeats.com/music/upload?ha … 3f04235914

Thanks a lot, man! I usually keep a .flac backup of the original render and a compressed ,mp3 version for listening on devices, sharing and the like. What just happened is that I gave the lossless WAV version an .mp3 extension by mistake, so it was bigger (24 bit) and in the wrong format, while some players still played it normally.

Thanks again, Wisefire. You WB people are really kind to us, week after week. Really appreciated smile

... found the cause: my render is 17 megs in size, though not playing on the right pitch/sample rate on some players. Rendering again right now

Tried to upload twice. First time 7 minutes before deadline, second time 4 minutes. Couldn't see my song on my profile. Can I have another go, please?

Seriously: I was CHECKING THE ENGLISH SPELLING of my track description because I didn't wanted to look dumb, then forgot to press Submit. Missed the deadline. Look a lot dumber now, for sure.

Can I please have an upload?

I'm really ashamed to be here another week apologising, but my project was clipping like crazy after rendering (pure distortion). I turn some track at maximum volume without noticing, and couldn't re-render on time.

Can I have a new slot, please? This one was a lot of work, really

No worries, https://weeklybeats.com/music/upload?ha … 3f04235914

Thanks a lot, Wisefire! Actually it took me three tries to get it right. I was using VCV Rack and a new plugin to share audio between apps on macOS. Once the slave app was gone and closed, everything went as planned.

Now I must get used to GMT+1 again!!! smile
