here's my set up, not the best, but I have good times with it. Saving up for a prophet5 or 10, so in a few months that will be a part of it as well.

Holy shit.

Veering away from Garden Ruin material momentarily, heading straight into noise.

I really have to get around to catching up on last week's tracks.  I haven't listened to anything from this week either.

Molina & Johnson

This is a great little release, isn't it? Which tracks are your highlights from this? I particularly like Each Star Marks A Day. Jason Molina is just fantastic.

The album's such a grower.  I love 20 Cycles To The Ground, Almost Let You In and 34 Blues.  I've also been giving a lot of love to the Josephine album lately - flawed, but there's some crackers on there.  I really, really hope Molina gets better soon..the influence that guy's had on me over the last couple of years is so massive.

holy balls, where did this week go? :S

Exactly.  For that very reason, I'm changing my original msp/csound plan:

- finish work.
- buy bottle of wine.
- write Garden Ruin lyrics/music.
- record Garden Ruin song.
- mix/upload by Sunday.

I think it's a Garden Ruin month.

What BDR said, I spend a lot of time messing around with the parameters of the envelopes.  heart phase distortion synthesis.

Also, If you're not SA based you can still join the group as a member if you like.

Since there's a few of us knocking about on here, I thought I'd post a link to a SoundCloud group that I started up a few months ago for SA Electronic and Experimental Music.

If you've got tracks on SoundCloud, then contribute them here!

This confirms what I perceived as an increased density of contributions per week.
