Spell songs? spry, would you happen to know of any resources I can take a look at for further reading? The non-practising pagan in me is curious.

Violincelli... Did not know that. *nods*

I wonder if my non-muso friends will forgive me for being punny at some point when I use violincelli in a sentence instead of vermicelli XP

P.S. It would also be helpful if we could "Quote" others in the comments section beneath the relevant individual's track as per the Forum.

You can quote, but you just need to write the tags in manually, but a quote button would be nice I agree

Didn't know you could do that O.o *stores in memory bank*

Hopefully with a lot more focus over the year.

Wait... that's the plural form for violincello? O.o

Move back to where I was in music a few years ago, just for a while.

My main goal is just to write more music!

I'm generally a pretty slow composer, so I'm looking forward to forced speed.

I also used to write songs with lyrics, and I haven't written any lyrics in over a year.  I'd like to do some singing this year.

All of the above. I suffer from social and performance anxiety, which has sent me off the rails creatively and with my studies... So I'll be using WeeklyBeats to prove to myself that I can still be musical, and that I haven't killed myself in terms of that creativity.

I also want to do more theory driven music, i.e. some classic counterpoint, twelve-tone technique and others.  I actually want to study the techniques of some other composers in a more formal and serious manner! big_smile

Oooooooooooooooooooh! Studying classical composition was probably the best thing I ever did, even if it hurt my brain massively. ^^' I'm actually sitting on a four-part vocal piece that relies on twelve-tone and 16th century counterpoint. It's waiting for me to master counterpoint without it hurting my brain. O.o

Following a brief chat with someone yesterday, I've decided to not write any chiptune-related music for WeeklyBeats.

Weekly zips would be cool.

At the very least, I'll put all my work into a massive zip file at the end of the year. :3

J-Pop. That is all. XD

Weapons of choice? Ableton, Audacity and my Tascam DR-1. Unfortunately for me, my music laptop has been out of action for quite a while... *sigh*

Having said that, I wouldn't mind expanding my weaponry to include some circuit-bent toys (gives me an excuse to FINALLY finish stuff!) and noisy children's toys too smile

Bwahahahahahahaha...

I'm seriously out of practice, not to mention leaving things to the last minute (as usual!) and experimenting with LMMS on a netbook... THE CRASHING!!!!!!

I'm relatively happy with my piece, considering that I haven't composed for a very long time. Nice and noisy. Needs a bit more separation between tracks, and probably a bit more noise, but I can live with it.

Now to wait for the other half's laptop to free up so I don't interrupt the Community marathon XD
