Did you forget the stamp (again)?
Hypnotic track. I like the beat and the organic atmosphere. And pages sounds!
Next time I should probably check for a stamp before I put my eyes in the envelope.
Sonically: Beautiful pure vocal tone. Love the clusters in the top voices. Love that the drums are good and loud over the soft block piano chords. And the page-turn conductor is a fun jolt every time
Conceptually, I wanna spin this in a million directions. Did the eyes get lost in the mail? Did the narrator start a failed potato garden? Is the would-be recipient missing? In any case, how are you gonna read the future in *any* book with no eyes?

This is so cool, I love everything about it! The roomy piano and drums sounds with their off-kilter chord progression and rhythm. The gorgeous vocal arrangement with the unusual clusters. The style of singing and the way it is processed reminds me of Jefferson Airplane. Awesome awesome ![]()
love the page turns and how the piano sounds
. Haunting chords that go with your vocals and the heavy drums. Well done!
the chords at the and the pacing in this. Gives me a real mystical/lightly haunting vibe. Super fun ![]()
Wow, such an atmosphere - always love an old piano, and the way those dreamy vocals lay over the top is amazing. But that punchy drum line doesn’t let things get sleepy. Organic and awesome.
Wow! This is strange, in a good way. The page turning, to me, suggests some kind of action outside of the music, creating two layers. Which invites you to think about what else is happening in this scene, what else could be set to that soundtrack. Combine that with the prompt... Yeah, super creative!
Love the old piano - beautiful. Was that S&H on a filter? Sounds really cool
Very cool! Love the page turns, they give this a very organic sound.
Many thanks for listening and commenting! Haha, I crammed some mixed metaphors into not very many lyrics so yes it does lead in a lot of directions. @dadboy, you flatter us. Nothing so technical, I just changed the BPM in my GarageBand project after recording the scratch piano track, so it created that weird effect. But I liked how it sounded so i recorded one with the weird effect and one without
i can't believe how insanely good and creative your WBs are this year
oh that is cool about the BPM change - there are some very cool artifacts to the time stretch
mixing on this is perfect, page turn sound is so excellent.
how much of this is intended and how much is spontaneous? maybe don't even answer it, but it's fascinating to wonder (is that random? is that written?)
Thank you! What is intended? What is spontaneous? Really, it's so hard to tell these days
