Breaking in a new reed
Is fun
But would sound better
THrough the Roland KC-550
But
there's no substitute
for practice

I like how the track is set by the slow tempo of the pad coming in and out. The reed is fantastic in this track. I was listening to the track while working and as the reed entered, it really grabbed me to the track. For some reason, the reed reminds me a little of Ravel - maybe similar scale used there than in his Bolero. The delay/reverb brings so much space, especially since it's only the reed and the pad. The lick that ends o the high note at 5:50 was really hypnotic, I was stopping my breath at the same time.

More reed!

this upload is a great moment in music history. an awesome breathtaking song. solid and magic like a pyramid.

(Missed you last week!)

Beautiful piece of music, that intro breathing like a giant in its sleep is perfect. Wonderful tone and I love the noise a lot, eg. 6:45 and how it falls apart around 6:52 or so. Really like the “inverted” take on theme and variations where the variations seem to come first and from fragments the theme happens. Listened to this twice and I think I’m going in for thirds.

Such.  An Awesome.  Sound!

(+fav I can barely articulate why or how much I dig this track, but I do and it's a lot)

fell into a trance with that swelling and ebbing pad. such good chords and such good playing

Some nice exotic vibes coming from your playing. Definitely very mood-setting.
