Generative Tools Trust

In my generative ambient compositions, I find that introducing recognizable changes can be difficult to plan out. Using Ableton's chance, randomization, and clip launcher, I automated a series of loops set at different lengths to try and introduce a wider set of variations. I am not sure if this was successful in overcoming my change problem but I felt like it was a step in the right direction.

Gear Used:
Ableton (generative sequencing and processing)
Deflemask Tracker (program percussions for sega genesis)
Elektron Analog Rytm (Kick samples and synthesis)
Sega Genesis (playback and sampled programmed percussion)
Roland Tr-606 (Sampled and sliced for generative drums)

Nice and chill man. I like the variations. smile

Great swells, so relaxing

I dig this. The drumsounds are extraordinary beautiful.

Not sure how you merge all the elements in your studio (checking your YT channel now, so I could see some examples) but the results are really tasteful. Song sounds pretty well structured and with a lot of refreshing variations, though never sounding "random", if you know what I mean
