our house is on fire

our house is still on fire

"Our house is on fire. I am here to say, our house is on fire.

According to the IPCC, we are less than 12 years away from not being able to undo our mistakes. In that time, unprecedented changes in all aspects of society need to have taken place, including a reduction of our CO2 emissions by at least 50%.We are facing a disaster of unspoken sufferings for enormous amounts of people. And now is not the time for speaking politely or focusing on what we can or cannot say. Now is the time to speak clearly...

Solving the climate crisis is the greatest and most complex challenge that Homo sapiens have ever faced. The main solution, however, is so simple that even a small child can understand it. We have to stop our emissions of greenhouse gases.

Either we do that or we don’t." - Greta Thunberg

The music has an unsettled urgency that pairs well with the message of the song.  It's time to panic indeed.

thank you!  read a book of her speeches last week & couldn't get that phrase out of my head...

very scary and eerie, just like it should be concerning the subject matter.

It's a dark time to be sure.

Powerful message.

Nice creative use of her powerful words.  I always enjoy when she bites back at the pasty orange's idiotic comments.  Nice work!

Damn this is sweet. Vocals are nicely set and i like the guitar smile

thank you friends

This may be my fav fav fav of your tracks this year!  It's got it all! I like the simple electronic elements in contrast with acoustic sounds and the lyrics are really cool and disturbing, but more importantly well matched with the composition.  Love that phrase "It's time to panic" with no sign of urgency. Well done!!
