A Gate Opens Up | Melancholic Rhythmic Noise

By electronic_tiger on July 5, 2026 4:30 pm

Melancholic rhythmic noise. Distorted beats and distant pads. I ran out of time on my original idea for this week. So at the last moment I abandoned that one, and polished up this older track instead. Which feels like playing a joker card. But I'd rather miss a week than upload a half-baked idea. That's just my personal standard. Obviously I'd much rather not miss a week at all. So I'm okay with this work around.

Any and all feedback is welcome!

The streak is alive!
The constant noise adds a nice ethereal, airy feel yet dusty feel.
Would be great for playing to a Wipeout’s desert level.

sounds high bpm but still one of your most laid back tracks (the most as far as I remember). it does get more intense towards the end but still.  I like your more aggressive ones but also cool to hear you mixing it up with some that are more focused on melodic elements (last week I think it was) and now this. very much enjoyed the ride.

the crackly glitches are lovely btw (easiest to hear at the end)
