I won't lie. I had to push myself to get something done. This is right around the time I typically burn out and I was just not feeling it this week. Work is taking up a lot more time and I'm on the road a LOT. But I'm glad I made time, even if it was like a couple hours ago and the song is little more than a simple pattern. And it's kinda long for what it is. But it is what it is. And it's uploaded.

Also, I got a compression module I've wanted for a long time so I can sidechain in my rack and I'm about to make it everyone's problem. Everything will pump from now on and there's nothing you can do to stop me.

glad you powered through and made it happen this week. the track turned out great - really dig the heavy pumping with the new comp!

so glad you were able to power through as well because this is SICK.

Great jam!! The synths sound so good in this and I love the way it builds!

Excellent modbap vibes. I was going to this Dabrye minimal funk vibe but failed spectacularly, so I'm glad to see you succeeding smile

Loving the use of the live delay (self oscillating pedals FTW). Maybe you'll enjoy another Behringer one with your rack: the DD600 clone of the classic RV5... highy recommended smile

A guided studio tour would be extra cool, ECSO smile

BTW: maybe we boom-bap heads are used to the sound, but I didn't noticed any annoying pumping compression on the track... are they not suppoed to hit like that? wink

Awesome work !!!

I'm in love with the synths, sounds amazing.

Really nice jam. I found it quite calming.

love how the synths build on top each other with the harmony.  a head nodder from beginning to end.  the melody takes on a hypnotic effect too.  Glad you pushed through!

Woah awesome sound. That bass is great and the opening synth is hypnotic. I love the loose feel of the rhythm and how the pump helps everything lean into it.

so glad you keep pushing through - feelin' the struggle too!

the slightly sinister edge to this feels appropriate - what a strange week

sending you & yours heart

Thank you! I decided to be a little conservative with the sidechain this time around but I won't make that promise next time. smile
