I've got a lot of work travel these next couple of weeks, so I made a small setup consisting of the SP-404SX and a small rack with Deckard's Voice, Ornament and Crime for sequencing, Temps Utile for clock and uTides V2 for modulation. This track was a practice run. I dig it. I got a lot of pleasure from the deliberate and contemplative nature of recording bits and pieces into the SP and assembling them into patterns fpr performance. It kinda makes me miss my OP-1, but not enough to buy a new one. That shit is 'spensive.

It does remind me that I need to fix my Norns Shield. It would really fit in well with this setup.

ps: not sure why, but i really love how those shakers are mixed in

love the tone of the bass and kick in this.  Such a solid sound that gets you swaying along to the shakers without even realizing you are until the track ends.  Always wanted an sp404 they look fun smile  Looking forward to more from this setup
